I had the immense pleasure to craft the sound design on Song of the sea, a beautiful movie which came out at the end of 2014, and made a run at the 2015 Oscars in the Animated Feature Film section.
The production flew me to Ireland to meet the team and record sounds around the country, thus making sure fona and flora would be aptly represented through the sound design. You can read a bit more about that here.
Few months later in the studio my colleague Alexandre Jaclain and I had a great time building the sonic picture of the movie together, along with foley artist Julien Billeau.
